    Steven Rudolph, Co-founder Jiva Institute.
    Steven Rudolph is an American educator, author, and innovator, who has lived in India since 1994. He is co-founder of Jiva, an organization that aims to improve practices in education and health by leveraging technology in ways that are socially responsible. Rudolph has founded the Jiva Public School, an institution that is based on constructive learning, and has designed ICOT (India's Curriculum of Tomorrow), an innovative curriculum and textbook series for schools that has been used by over 5,00,000 students all over India. He is also a pioneer in Ayurvedic telemedicine, winning the World Summit Award in 2003 for Teledoc, a service that provides healthcare to villagers through mobile phones. He is an ardent practitioner of complex adaptive systems theory.
