Profile of G. Balasubramanian
Mr. G. Balasubramanian is the Director (Academics) of the Central Bureau of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. He has a post-graduate degree in Chemistry, Hindi and Education as well as a diploma in the German Language. He Joined CBSE as Joint Secretary in 1984. He has worked as Joint Secretary in Academics, Examination, Confidential and Administration branches. He has also worked as Joint Secretary Incharge of Regional Office, Madras.
Mr. Balasubramanian has authored several books on science and computers for schools. He has published several articles on education in leading magazines and international forums. He has contributed to the development of new courses on information technology, communicative approach to teaching of languages, bio-technology, web designing & fashion studies. He also has a keen interest in poetry and has published the following books - A happy journey and Apologies to an Existence.
He has traveled extensively under Commonwealth Fellowship to U.S. U.K., France, West Germany, Belgium, Holland, Thailand, Japan and Sri Lanka.
