In 1998, NIIT launched TechEdgeTM, an on-line service for the students and faculty of NIIT. The TechEdgeTM, which was conceptualised at CRCS, provides various ways in which students can update themselves, get answers to their queries, and take on-line tests. It aims at bringing to the students of NIIT all the latest developments in the field of IT just like First AccessTM, a website that provides information about the cutting-edge work happening in the world of IT.
First AccessTM is a unique way of bringing to our students the very latest in technology, without waiting for the long process of curriculum change to happen. As opposed to most technical journals, the language of First AccessTM is fairly simple befitting its use by students. Since October 2000, First AccessTM has become a part of www.NetVarsity.com as a special feature under TechEdgeTM. This project reflects the efforts of CRCS in the area of Internet technology. |
