Multimedia, the hot growth global industry is all set to expand its
presence in India. According to a study by Andersen Consulting, the
Indian multimedia and graphics industry, currently pegged at $550
million, is slated to grow at 30 percent annually over the next three
years and achieve revenues of US$ 15 billion by 2008.
India's animation industry (domestic and exports) will touch US$ 2
billion and create employment for around three lakh professionals,
including content developers and animators by 2008.
